This application is recommended exclusively for users of the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. It provides real-time glucose data, enabling users to monitor their levels continuously without the need for fingerstick calibration, and is approved for making diabetes treatment decisions based on these readings.*

It is important to note that if your glucose alerts and readings from the G6 do not match your symptoms or expectations, you should verify your glucose level with a blood glucose meter before adjusting your treatment plan.*

The Dexcom G6 system offers convenient access to your glucose levels via compatible smartphones or smartwatches, allowing for quick and easy monitoring. A list of compatible devices can be found at www.dexcom.com/compatibility. The system provides updates as frequently as every five minutes and is approved for use in children aged 2 years and older.

Users receive personalized trend alerts directly on their smart device, indicating when glucose levels are dangerously high or low. The Alert Schedule feature allows customization of a secondary set of alerts, including the option to select custom alert sounds, such as vibrate-only notifications on the mobile device. The Urgent Low Alarm cannot be disabled to maintain safety.

The Always Sound setting ensures that specific alerts—including Low and High Glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon alerts, and Rise/Fall Rate notifications—are audible even if the phone's sound is turned off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. By default, this setting is enabled, with an icon on the home screen indicating whether alerts will sound. Certain critical alerts, such as Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped, cannot be silenced for safety reasons.

Additional features include:

• Sharing glucose data with designated followers via the Dexcom Follow app, which requires an internet connection.
• Quick Glance functionality for viewing glucose information directly on the lock screen of compatible devices.
• A link to Dexcom Clarity on the trend graph, providing easy access to detailed glucose analysis.

Wear OS Integration:

• The Dexcom G6 watch face enables rapid access to glucose readings and trends directly from a smartwatch.
• Glucose alerts and alarms can be monitored through Wear OS devices for increased convenience.
